The reason for this blog's creation is to be an outlet for my love of both writing and fashion. I have recently applied to the UK for university and I hope to study Fashion Journalism. Preferably in London, but we all know how that goes.
By and by, I figure it's time I put my fashion sense and knowledge to the test, to see if I'm really cut out for the job. To be honest, I never really like to read other fashion blogs. It annoyed me to see the model-esque bloggers with photographer boyfriends showing off their Gucci and Balsain heels while I was stuck with my aging Gap flats. I guess you could say that this is the underdog blog, the starving student's guide to fashion.
If all goes well, I'll be able to throw in some of my other interests: books, indie music, film, the world...there won't be any real structure to this blog. Whatever I feel like writing while procrastinating math homework.
Really like the sound of your approach to 'the fashion blogging world'. Wish more fashion/beauty blogs were written this way. I'll definitely be checking back here to see your future posts.
